SMS Terms and Conditions
1. Program name and sponsor
The Word of Life Tabernacle Notifications program (the “Program”) is operated by Word of Life Tabernacle (“we”, “us”), a non-profit church located at 94 Lindsey St, Silsbee, TX 77656. Messages are sent from +1 (866) 701-1760.
2. Program description
The Program sends notifications by text message to members who have asked to receive them:
- Notice that a new service recording has been published.
- Notice that a new event has been posted, limited to the event types the member selects.
- Notice that a new music album has been published.
- Reminders about an upcoming singing appointment (a “special”) the member is scheduled for.
The Program is informational. We do not send marketing, advertising, promotional offers, or solicitations by text message.
3. How you opt in
Enrollment is entirely optional and is done by you, in your own account on our member website:
- Enter your mobile number in the Mobile Phone field on your Profile page. Adding a number alone does not enroll you.
- Under Notifications on the same page, tick the box “Send me text message (SMS) notifications.” This box is unchecked by default.
Ticking that box is your express written consent to receive recurring automated text messages from Word of Life Tabernacle at the mobile number on your account. Consent is not a condition of membership, donation, purchase, or participation in any activity. You can receive the same notifications by other means without ever enabling text messages. You may only enroll a mobile number that belongs to you or that you are authorized to enroll.
4. Message frequency
Message frequency varies. Messages are sent only when content you subscribed to is published or a special you are scheduled for is approaching — typically a few messages per week.
5. Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for the Program, but your wireless carrier may charge you according to your plan.
6. How to opt out (STOP)
Reply STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any message. You will receive one confirmation message, after which no further text messages will be sent to that number. You may also untick the SMS box on your Profile page at any time, or email info@wolt.ca. To rejoin, tick the box again or reply START.

8. Carriers
Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, US Cellular, Boost Mobile, Cricket Wireless, Metro by T-Mobile, Google Fi, Rogers, Bell, and Telus. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
9. Privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Our messaging provider (Microsoft Azure Communication Services) processes numbers only to deliver the messages you asked for. See our Privacy Policy.
10. Compliance
The Program is operated in accordance with the U.S. Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), applicable FCC regulations, the CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices, and, for recipients in Canada, Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
11. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age and the account holder of, or authorized to use, the mobile number you enroll. The Program is intended for recipients in the United States and Canada.

We may update these terms; changes are shown by the “Last updated” date above.
